Hey so last Wednesday we had a great time, we had a small cookout, hotdogs, sliders, s'mores, all that. Was a ton of fun, got up to some goofy wild west shenanigans.. then we had some time of worship, and we read more of "Built Different" by Gabe Poirot, we cannot get enough of this book! 

It is so fun and packed full of truth. We read about how we shouldn't "Leave Jesus on Read" which is so true, as one who may or may not have been left on read before,, uhh yeah it isn't really a good feeling. Yet so many of us will treat Jesus like that, God has not left us on read, in fact he has a whole book written and addressed to us. And yet we barely read or don't read at all what he is saying to us, we don't pursue our relationship with him nearly as much as we should, while at the same time he was willing to be crucified for us. He was willing to take up a cross and be nailed to it to show us how much he loves us.

We all need to work on our relationship with Jesus, we all can do better. But we gotta take small steps. The most important step is simply dedicating some time to reading scripture atleast once or twice a day. Being active and intentional in praying frequently.
